About Me

Realtor with Restaino & Associates since 2004

"Mary always thought of what was valuable for us, not for herself.  We enjoyed working with someone who was so open and approachable.  We came away with a sense of trust and a feeling that she was genuinely on our side in our quest for the perfect house.  She did everything we could expect and more.  We chose to work with her because she thoughtfully took the time to discuss our questions and to discuss the possibility of renting.  Alicia and I needed to come to terms with both the market conditions in the Madison area, as well as the compromises we would have to make to find a house we could be happy with, and afford to buy.  Through all of that time, she was exceedingly patient, and open to our viewpoints- never pushing us in any direction.  She also provided great recommendations for painters and electricians after the sale.

She was the first realtor I've encountered who defied the negative stereotypes.  I cannot tell you how much Alicia and I appreciated her patience.  I think she did a great job of helping us focus on resolving the underlying issues, which initially frustrated us in our search, without being pushy or condescending."

After several years of teaching at a Montessori school and a desire for new challenges, I decided to explore an interest in architecture and historic preservation.  I found a career that I love- one that's fulfilling, useful, ever-changing and fun.  Family, friends and colleagues tell me that it's a perfect fit!

I enjoy Telemark skiing, hot yoga, gardening, spending time at my family farm, and travel.

My most exciting adventure to date is five months spent working in Antarctica through the National Science Foundation.  I then kayaked, camped, hiked, went fly fishing and explored in New Zealand.
